1. Our commitment
Nubryx does not tolerate the use of its network or services for abuse. We investigate every report we receive and act promptly to stop confirmed abuse, while treating our customers fairly.
2. How to report abuse
Email [email protected]. To help us act quickly, include:
- The IP address, domain name or URL involved
- The type of abuse (for example spam, phishing, malware, DDoS, port scanning or copyright infringement)
- Date, time and time zone of the activity
- Evidence such as full email headers, log excerpts or screenshots
- Your contact details, in case we need more information
3. What we handle
The abuse team handles reports involving services hosted on the Nubryx network, including:
- Spam and unsolicited bulk email
- Phishing and fraudulent websites
- Malware distribution and compromised websites or servers
- Denial-of-service attacks, brute-force attempts and network scanning
- Copyright and trademark infringement
- Illegal content
4. How we respond
We acknowledge abuse reports within 24 hours. Phishing, malware and active attacks are prioritised and normally acted on within a few hours of confirmation.
When abuse is confirmed we notify the customer responsible and ask them to resolve it within a set time. Where the activity is causing ongoing harm, is clearly illegal, or the customer does not respond, we may suspend the service immediately.
We may not be able to share the outcome of an investigation with the reporter, to protect the privacy of our customers.
5. If you receive an abuse notice
Reply to the notice before the deadline it states, explaining what caused the issue and what you have done to fix it. If your website or server has been compromised, we can help you clean it up as a paid service. Repeated or deliberate abuse leads to termination under our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
6. Law enforcement requests
Requests from law enforcement and government agencies should be sent to [email protected] with the requesting officer's details and the legal basis for the request. We respond to valid legal process in accordance with applicable law.
