1. Purpose and scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses Nubryx services, including your own customers and users of anything you host with us. You are responsible for making sure they comply. This AUP is part of our Terms of Service.
2. Unlawful content and activity
You must not use our services to store, transmit or facilitate:
- Content or activity that is illegal under the laws of India or of the country where the service is located
- Child sexual abuse material, which we report to the authorities
- Material that infringes copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights
- Fraud, scams, phishing pages or impersonation of other people or organisations
- Malware, ransomware, exploit kits or command-and-control infrastructure
- Content that incites violence, terrorism or hatred against protected groups
- Sale of illegal goods or services, or unlicensed gambling
3. Email and messaging
Email sent from our services must be wanted by the people who receive it. You must not:
- Send unsolicited bulk or commercial email (spam), or use purchased or harvested address lists
- Send mail with forged headers or misleading sender details
- Host websites advertised through spam sent from any network
- Exceed the sending limits of your plan or try to evade them
4. Network and security abuse
You must not use our network or servers to:
- Launch denial-of-service attacks, or flood any network or host
- Scan ports, probe for vulnerabilities or access systems without the owner's permission
- Crack passwords or brute-force log-ins
- Operate open proxies, open mail relays or anonymising services that are used for abuse
- Spoof IP addresses or interfere with network routing
- Bypass the resource limits, billing or security controls of our services
5. Resource usage
Shared hosting is designed for websites and their related email. Do not use shared hosting for cryptocurrency mining, file-sharing or media-streaming services, backup storage unrelated to your hosted sites, or long-running background processes that degrade the server for others.
Cryptocurrency mining is not permitted on any Nubryx service without prior written agreement.
VPS network usage must remain within the limits of your plan and configuration. Sustained use that disrupts the network for other customers may be rate-limited.
6. Keeping your service secure
You must take reasonable steps to keep your service secure, including strong passwords, current software versions and prompt action when we notify you of a compromise. A compromised account that is sending spam or attacking other systems may be suspended until it has been cleaned.
7. Enforcement
We investigate reported or detected violations. Depending on severity, we may issue a warning, remove specific content, limit resources, suspend the service or terminate the account. Serious or illegal activity may be suspended immediately without notice and reported to the authorities.
We are not obliged to monitor content, but we act on violations we become aware of. Services suspended for AUP violations are not eligible for refunds or service credits.
